Please be kind

Anyone who knows me or has even spoken to me for more than 5 minutes can tell that I am an animal lover, absurdly, if that's possible. It is my own personal choice to not eat, wear or contribute in any feasible way to their endangerment or demise. HOWEVER, I do believe in everyone's choice to choose haha. But, I will spread whatever propaganda that I want!!
It's not militant, just a very sweet and pleasant reminder to be kind to all the inhabitants of our glorious planet. =)

Also, on that note. I will now post one of the yummiest breakfast treats ever!! It's a vegetarian recipe but there are side notes on how to vegan it up if you should choose. MMMMM!!!

ORANGE FRENCH TOAST (simple enough)

Ingredients- 3 Large eggs or equal amount of vegan egg replacer, 1 tsp orange zest (Zest, if you don't know, is tiny bits of the peel of the orange. Only the orange part itself, if you get the inner white part of the peel it is very bitter. You can use a tiny kitchen tool called a "zester" or you can use a sharp knife and just cut off tiny shreds of the peel.), 3/4 Cup orange juice (I find pulp free works better but whatever kind or brand gets you jazzed is fine), 2 tbsp. honey, 6 slices whole wheat bread, 1 tbsp vegetable margarine or butter.

PREPARATION-

In a large bowl whisk together eggs (or replacer), zest, oj and honey. Arrange the bread slices in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour the egg mixture over the bread, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or even overnight if you choose to prepare breakfast the night before. The time in the fridge allows for the mixture to saturate the bread and for the dee-lih-shous flavors to enhance.

COOKING-

Heat a large nonstick (or use the spritz stuff) skillet on medium heat. Brush with margarine. Add bread to the pan in batches, approximately 3 minutes a side but that will obviously vary, cook until each side is golden brown.

AND THAT'S IT!

It's so so yummy! It's good plain, with butter, with syrup, honey, however you prefer your french toast!!
